Burford, Ontario – The Burford Bulldogs Junior Hockey Club are very excited and pleased to welcome both Brad Vervaecke and Zack Morrison to Bulldogs Country as assistant coaches for the 2021-2022 season.
Brad Vervaecke
Born in Brantford and with strong family ties to Burford, Vervaecke grew up playing in the Brantford Minor Hockey Association at the AAA level.
During the 2012-2013 season, Vervaecke would make the jump to junior hockey in the NDJCHL where he suited up for the Simcoe Storm. During the 2014-2015 season, Vervaecke landed in Burford and would skate for the Bulldogs until the 2015-2016 season. Brad would go on to finish his junior hockey career, in the MWJCHL, with the Norwich Merchants.
Brad will be looking after the defensive side of the puck for the 2021-22 season.
Zack Morrison
Born in Brantford, Zack is a product of the Brantford Minor Hockey Association and played at the AAA level.
During the 2013-2014 season, Morrison would make the jump to the MWJCHL for the Norwich Merchants. Zack went on to play four years with the Merchants and was the team captain during his final year with the club.
During his post-playing days, Morrison has been involved in coaching in the Brantford Minor Hockey Association, serving as an assistant coach during the 2019-2020 season.
Zack will be looking after the offensive side of the puck for the 2021-2022 season.
