Another weekend of Provincial Junior Hockey League action awaits the many fans across Ontario this coming weekend. With a full slate of PJHL Doherty Division games on the weekend schedule, the Bulldogs find themselves in the mix of the action as team looks for its first win of the campaign.
On Friday night (8:00PM) the Dogs will make the twenty-minute trek southwest to tango with the Norwich Merchants who are coming off a pair of losses last weekend and are also looking to change their fortunes this weekend.
This is a big game for the Dog’s coaching staff as both Zack Morrison and Brad Vervaecke make their return to the NOR-DEL Arena. Morrison played for the Merchants from 2013 to 2016, captaining the team in his final season with the club. Vervaecke laced up the skates for the Merchants during his final season in 2015-2016.
“I’ve never been on the away side of the rink,” joked Morrison. “I’m looking forward to returning the NOR-DEL,” he added.
